During this project for my Branding 2 class, I had to figure out what the brand values are for the brand I created, what the logo usage will look like, how will it be used, I had to showcase what the brand colours are for the brand, what typography was used as well as imagery to display the look and feel of the brand. When I created the Flip'N Your Lid Burger logo, I thought of creating it where it represents a retro diner with a modern twist feeling where they server freshly made meals to their customers and can connect with others by playing video games or listening to music. The way I have the top bun of the burger on the logo being pushed upward from the explosion emphasizes playful and exciting mood. I choose warm yellow, retro red, cheesy orange and knight black for my primary colours to emphasize a warm and friendly feeling. Both the primary and the secondary colours used helps create a sense of heigharchy in the logo where it makes it playful and attracts the audiences attention. The typography I used is simple and consistent throughout the brand. The photography I used helps visualize the life style of what the brand is about. As well as showcasing images of what the freshly made food will look like when served to their customers. I also did include advertisement for the brand where it shows what meals they server, how much they cost, how much it cost to play games at the retro diner, I created a social media page for the brand, I created what their employees attire will look like and what the packaging of for the freshly made meals they serve will look like.
